This weekend retreat for individuals living with metastatic breast cancer (MBC) and their spouse, partner, or primary caregiver offers a chance to step away from the demands of treatments, schedules, and everyday life. In a supportive and restorative environment, participants will have the opportunity to focus on connection, healing, relaxation, and renewal.

The retreat provides a space for patients and caregivers to share their personal journeys, challenges, and experiences with others who understand. Through meaningful conversations and shared moments, participants may discover new coping strategies, supportive connections, and even unexpected “silver linings” while learning to live more fully in the present.

The Metastatic Breast Cancer Retreat is offered at no cost to participants. The program is facilitated by a clinical oncology social worker and sponsored by the Northside Hospital Cancer Institute and the Northside Hospital Foundation.

Throughout the weekend, participants will take part in guided discussions and relaxing activities such as small group conversations and massage, all set within the scenic surroundings of the North Georgia Mountains. The retreat includes two nights of lodging, meals, and access to the facility’s amenities.

Participants must be 18 years or older, ambulatory, and able to function independently.

Attendees are responsible for their own transportation to and from the retreat.

Applications will be accepted Monday, March 31 - Friday, August 7 For more information, please email kymberly.duncan@northside.com.
