Through consistent quality standards, the Northside Hospital system continues to advance the health and wellness of the communities it serves. Over the past quarter, Northside physicians and care teams earned multiple national recognitions for excellence in specialty care, patient experience and workplace culture, including a global cardiovascular imaging honor for Northside Hospital Outpatient Radiology.
Northside Hospital Outpatient Radiology in Cumming received Heartflow’s CT Quality Award after achieving a 100% acceptance rate in Q4 2025 and a 99% acceptance rate in Q1 2026 for Heartflow studies. The center ranked among the top 22% of global medical centers conducting CT coronary angiogram Heartflow studies.
The Northside Hospital system was recognized by Comparably among top large employers nationwide for Best Company for Women, Best Company for Diversity and Best Company Outlook for 2026.
Northside Hospital Forsyth was named among Newsweek’s World’s Best Hospitals 2026 and earned “six-year champion” status for receiving the recognition six consecutive years. In addition, Northside Hospital Atlanta, Northside Hospital Forsyth, Northside Hospital Cherokee and Northside Hospital Gwinnett were named to Newsweek’s 2026 list of America’s Best Maternity Hospitals for excellence in care for mothers and newborns.
Northside Hospital Atlanta and Northside Hospital Cherokee were designated as Regional Care Center PE Centers of Excellence by The PERT Consortium, becoming the first centers in Georgia and metro Atlanta to receive the recognition. The designation follows a rigorous review of clinical quality, multidisciplinary collaboration and outcomes in the treatment of pulmonary embolism.
Northside Hospital Cherokee and Northside Hospital Forsyth earned the 2026 Healthgrades Outstanding Patient Experience Award™ for delivering superior, patient-centered care. Northside Hospital Cherokee ranked among the top 5% of hospitals nationwide for patient experience for the eighth consecutive year from 2019-2026, while Northside Hospital Forsyth ranked among the top 15% nationwide for the second consecutive year from 2025-2026.
Northside Hospital Atlanta earned Nuclear/PET accreditation from the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission, reinforcing its commitment to high-quality cardiac imaging and patient care.
Northside Hospital’s Blood and Marrow Transplant Program exceeded expected one-year survival outcomes for the 17th consecutive year from 2009-2025, according to the latest Transplant Center Survival Report from the Center for International Blood and Marrow Transplant Research.
