The new interventional radiology space in Northside Hospital Gwinnett's new tower is now open, bringing state-of-the-art CT technology and expanded capacity to patients and providers. The suite features two procedure rooms connected by a movable CT, allowing radiologists to perform real-time diagnostics and interventional procedures with unprecedented precision.
“Bringing a state-of-the-art Interventional Radiology suite with integrated CT technology to our hospital marks a transformative step in patient care,” said Amy Holloway, director of radiology at Northside Hospital Gwinnett. “It allows our team to diagnose and treat with unprecedented precision, efficiency and confidence.

The advanced system supports image fusion for enhanced accuracy and includes laser guidance to help direct needles precisely to the treatment site. With the expanded layout doubling procedure, prep, and recovery room availability, the new space will allow teams to care for more patients while delivering the most advanced imaging and interventional care available.
