A Wellness Place, Northside Hospital’s compression team, provides specialized support and products for individuals managing lymphedema and other vascular conditions. A Wellness Place is located on the Atlanta, Cherokee and Forsyth campuses.
At A Wellness Place, the team supports patients’ comfort, confidence and well-being by offering specialty health care products for men and women. High-quality compression garments are available in ready-to-wear and custom options designed to fit patients’ lives.
The team works closely with individuals managing vascular conditions and lymphedema, as well as those navigating life after mastectomy. In addition to compression garments, A Wellness Place carries a selection of post-mastectomy products designed to help patients feel whole, supported and at ease.
The mission of A Wellness Place is simple: help patients look and feel their best daily. Staff take time to get to know each individual, understand their needs and find solutions that fit their body and lifestyle.
For post-mastectomy clients, the goal is to help patients feel like themselves again — comfortable, confident and empowered after their cancer journey. For compression patients, the team is dedicated to easing discomfort and improving daily life through expertly fitted, ready-to-wear or custom compression garments.
A Wellness Place is accredited by The Joint Commission and follows guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The team works with most insurance providers and helps file claims to make the experience as smooth as possible.
A Wellness Place encourages the community to show support for those living with lymphedema by wearing teal on March 6.
